I’ve spent the last two-plus decades building, scaling, and selling companies—from bootstrapped startups to a private equity-backed exit. Along the way, I’ve seen the inside of high-growth chaos, survived downturns, and led teams through every kind of operational challenge you can imagine.

These days, I work as an independent consultant—helping founder-led and private equity-backed businesses find clarity, fix what’s broken, and scale without losing what makes them special.

I’m not an academic. I’m not a theorist. I’m someone who’s sat in the chair, signed the checks, and carried the pressure.

I was born and raised in rural South Georgia but moved to Metro Atlanta in 1994. I am married to my beautiful wife, Diana, and have three sons, Jake, Hunter and Hayes. We currently reside in the North Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta, Georgia. Personally, I love sports, boating, and traveling the world with my wife and sons.
